The present invention is in the field of enzyme technology, in particular the anti-pilling effect of enzymes, such as those used in detergents or cleaning agents. The invention relates to agents, in particular washing or cleaning agents, which contain a polyesterase as defined herein. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a method for cleaning textiles and the use of the agent according to the invention for removing dirt. Furthermore, the invention is directed to the use of a polyesterase, as described herein, for reducing pilling effects and anti-gray in an agent, preferably a washing or cleaning agent.
