The invention relates to a method, a computer program with instructions and a device for qualifying a useful date. In a first step (10) input data from two or more sources are received. Qualitative metrics for the input data are also received (11). A useful date is determined from the input data (12). In addition, at least one qualitative metric for the usage date is determined from the qualitative metrics of the input data (13). The invention enables continuous dynamic qualification of data from different sources that have a continuously changing trustworthiness.
