METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MONITORING A MACHINE HEALTH TO IMPROVE AN IMPACT OF THE MACHINE CYCLE TIME

The disclosure provides a method and system for monitoring machine health to improve an impact of the machine cycle time. The present disclosure relates to a method for monitoring health of a machining tool that can be operated in a machining state to form a workpiece and a non-machining state. The method includes determining, based on an engine health log stored by the control system, whether an engine health routine is to be performed, and retrieving a cyclic unprocessing schedule in response to the engine health routine having to be performed, wherein the cyclic no-touch schedule includes a schedule for performing one or more of defined several maintenance routines. The method further includes identifying a primary service routine from the one or more maintenance routines based on the non-processing cyclic schedule and scheduling the machine health routine with the primary service routine.
