Various embodiments of the present application are directed to a one time programmable (OTP) implementation using magnetic transitions. In some embodiments, an array includes multiple magnetic transitions in multiple columns and multiple rows, and the multiple magnetic transitions include a first magnetic transition and a second magnetic transition. The first and second magnetic junctions include individual upper ferromagnetic elements and individual lower ferromagnetic elements, and further include individual barrier elements between the upper and lower ferromagnetic elements. A first barrier element of the first magnetic junction electrically separates first upper and lower ferromagnetic elements of the first magnetic junction. A second barrier element of the second magnetic junction has been damaged so that it has defects that define a leak path between second upper and lower ferromagnetic elements of the second magnetic junction. The damaged state corresponds to a programmed state and is not sensitive to high temperature changes, even with small sizes.
