TECHNOLOGIES FOR EFFICIENT STOCHASTIC ASSOCIATIVE SEARCH OPERATIONS

Technologies for stochastic associative searches in memory (e.g., three-dimensional crosspoint memory) include a computing device. The computing device has a main memory which contains a matrix which stores individually addressable bit data and is formed by rows and columns. The computing device receives a request to retrieve a subset of the bit data stored in the matrix. The request contains a search key indicating the subset of bit data, and the search key is formed on the same axis as the rows. The computing device identifies one or more data record candidates in the matrix based on a search for bit data of the search key that match bit data in one or more of the columns. The computing device outputs the identified data record candidates.
