Handheld stabilizer, characterized in that it comprises: a handle (1) having a handheld section (11) and a connecting section (12) connected to the handheld section (11); a camera platform mechanism which is connected between the connecting section (12) anda recording device is installed and used to adjust the position of the recording device, a drive mechanism for driving the camera platform mechanism for actuation; a control structure (6) which, after receiving a position signal, does not indicate that the center of one or more human faces transmitted by the recording device located at a fixed position on the recorder screen, actuates the camera platform mechanism to actuate so as to adjust the position of the recorder so that the center of one or more human faces is adjusted to the fixed position on the recorder screen.
