Closing device for a packaging, in particular a consumer goods and/or food packaging consisting of or comprising:(i) a closure for a package of consumer goods, in particular foodstuffs, consisting of:(i-a) a flange with a medium-sized diameter and a raised outer thread mounted on it to accommodate a turning lock;(i-b) a closure, in particular a rotary closure, the inner thread of which corresponds to the outer thread of the flange;(i-c) a cutting ring placed inside the closure; and(i-d) a protective foil with which the passage is closed in the flange;(ii) an electrochemical sensor comprising or consisting of:(ii-a) a carrier (100)(ii-b) a first electrode (200) and a second electrode (300), each of which has its first and second surfaces opposite each other, the two electrodes having different electrochemical potentials and each having one of their surfaces on the carrier, so that they are physically interposed in a x-direction of an image plane, parallel to the carrier,(ii-c) an electrolyte-generating layer which, under the influence of moisture, forms an electrolyte solution (401), covering at least part of the first surface of the first electrode (200) and part of the second surface of the second electrode in y-direction of the same image plane, and the said first electrode (200) with the second electrode (300) electrically connects; and(ii-d) means of short-circuiting the first electrode (200) with the second electrode (300); and(a) the seal is placed on the packaging;(b) the cutting ring in the closure, especially in the rotating closure, is so arranged as to cut the protective foil when turning the closure;(c) the electrochemical sensor is positioned between the closure and the packaging in such a way that moisture rises after turning the closure and cutting the protective film; enters the previously inactive electrolyte generating layer and initiates the lateral oxidation of the second electrode by providing a liquid electrolyte,(d) the first electrode is a graphite electrode;(e) the second electrode is an aluminium foil of approximately 10 to 50 nm strength; and(f) the second electrode is coated on the visual side with a transparent steam barrier.
