The invention relates to a device (1) for the treatment of hemorrhoidal disease, comprising a body (2) intended to be partially introduced into the anus of a patient, the distal end ( 21) of the body (2) being closed while its proximal end (22) is open, a side opening (23) being provided in the side wall of the body (2) so as to form an access window (F) to the lower rectum, and gripping means (30) extending from said proximal end (22).
