A method of manufacturing a valve rotator body comprising pressing of a sheet material in a first shaping step to provide the sheet material with a first shape and at least a second shaping step performed on the sheet material having the first shape to provide the sheet material with a second shape. There is also a method of assembling a valve rotator 100 comprising a valve rotator body 101, the valve rotator 100 comprising an annular shaped lip portion, an annular groove 13, a valve rotator sleeve 2 configured to receive the valve rotator body 101, a garter spring 4, and a disc spring (3, Fig. 1). The method aids in the provision of precise manufacturing of a complex shape to produce a lightweight yet strong valve rotator body. A pressing tool, a method of assembling a valve rotator, a valve rotator body and a valve rotator are also disclosed.
