A heating radiator element comprises a base body 12 having first opposed side edges connected by second opposed side surfaces 17 and having an upper transverse hose 13 at one end thereof and a lower transverse hose at an opposite end thereof to allow fluid to circulate within the base body. The first side edges are intended to lie parallel to a supporting wall in use with the upper transverse hose uppermost. First and a second heat exchanger plates 15, 16 are attached to respective ones of the fist side edges and a plurality of first heat radiating fins 18 extend from at least one of the second side edges to be parallel to the heat exchanger plates. The first and second heat exchanger plates are connected by a connecting portion 20 arranged outside i.e. in use, above the upper transverse hose. Second heat radiating fins 19 may be mounted on and orthogonal to the connecting portion and third heat radiating fins 21 may be mounted on the connecting portion orthogonally to both the portion and the heat exchanger plates. The transverse hoses may be connected to further adjacent units so that successive units form a radiator. Improves heat transfer.
