Turntable and light box for ring photography

A turntable for ring photography includes a vacuum pump, a motor 120 with a hollow shaft 122, an air hose 130 connected between the vacuum pump and the hollow shaft, and a platter 140 with a suction hole 142 providing airtight communication with the hollow shaft. The suction hole provides vacuum suction to enable a ring 20 to stand on a carrying surface 144 of the platter. The platter brings the ring to rotate when the motor is turned on. The turntable may have an air connector 124 connecting at least one of the hollow shaft and the vacuum pump to the air hose. The platter may have a notch formed on the carrying surface extending outward from the suction hole, a depth of the notch being smaller or equal to the platter’s thickness. There may be plural notches symmetrically, radially or asymmetrically arranged around a centre of the suction hole. A light box for ring photography includes the turntable and a box.
