PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent unnecessary behavior of a load device at activation of a power supply.SOLUTION: An arc extinguishing device (2) comprises: a semiconductor switch (TR4) connected in parallel to a mechanical first switch (SW1); a power supply circuit (22) that outputs a voltage for turning on the semiconductor switch (TR4) by a voltage generated between both contacts of the first switch (SW1); and a second switch (SW2) that prevents an ON operation of the semiconductor switch (TR4) by being in an open state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
