PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely attach an attached long material such as a sealing material and a reinforcing material to a main belt material when manufacturing a belt-shaped member. A main strip material 11 of a strip-shaped member 10 is transported along a transport path 2a of a transport mechanism 2. A long material such as the sealing material 19 is sent out from the sending mechanism 3. The long member 19 is temporarily fitted to the mounting seat 13a' by the temporary fitting means 41 of the fitting mechanism 4 on the transport path 2a. After that, the long member 19 is fitted deeper into the mounting seat 13a' by the main fitting means 42 on the downstream side. [Selection diagram] Figure 1
