A display unit (DU) includes a display panel (DP), a circuit board (CB) bent from a front surface of the display panel (DP) toward a rear surface of the display panel (DP), a window (WM) disposed on the front surface of the display panel (DP) to cover an active area (AA), and a cover panel film (CVP) disposed on the rear surface of the display panel (DP) and disposed between the display panel (DP) and the circuit board (CB). The cover panel film (CVP) includes a first portion overlapping with the display panel (DP), and a second portion extending from the first portion to protrude from the display panel (DP) when viewed in a plan view. The second portion is disposed between the circuit board (CB) and the window (WM) when viewed in a cross-sectional view.
