A bridle for horses comprises a noseband, or flash, a crownpiece, and a pair of cheekpieces, which connect the crownpiece to the noseband. The lower end of each cheekpiece is fixed to a connecting fork sliding freely along a sliding pin fixed to the side of the noseband.
