The Hon‟ble Prime Minister while addressing a farmers‟ rally in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, on 28thudFebruary, 2016 shared his vision on doubling the farmers‟ income by the time the nationudcelebrates her 75 years of independence in the year 2022. Towards realizing this vision, theudIndian Council of Agricultural Research has set-up State Coordination Committee (SCC) for alludthe states to chalk out strategies to double the farmers‟ income by March-2022.
