In the previous report, a new method of composing Sandwich Curtain Wallwas proposed,and the previous papers dealt with the experimental study oncomposing the Sandwich Curtain Wall at both an inner and outer wall ofbui1ding,The latter is composed in the following way.1. The structural mullion is attached to the structural frame.2. The Steel-bar-grid is attached to the structural mullion.3. This grid is sandwiched between the special concrete panel and thealuminum panel attached to the Urethane Foam Panel (U. A. panel).4. These two are combined by concrete set between them.The present paper dealt with the experimental study of lightening, rigidity,strength and refractoriness of the Lightweight Sandwich Curtain Wall at anouter wall of building.The resuIts obtained are as follows :1. This method of composing the outer wall of bui1ding is easy,exact andrapid.2. The Sandwich Curtain Wall of which the lightweight concrete panel andthe U. A. panel are combined together by lightweight concrete has therefractoriness enough for an hour.3. The weight of this outer curtain wall sandwiched by both lightweightconcrete panel and lightweight concrete is only 85.71 Kg per unit area,which is about 22 per cent of the reinforced concrete wall,and this valueis about 68 per cent of wall sandwiched by both concrete panel andconcrete.4. The rigidity of this outer curtain wall is about 15.6 % and strength isabout 80% of Wall sandwiched by the concrete panel and the U. A. Panel.
