El periodismo en los tiempos de un nuevo ecosistema mediático: propuestas para la enseñanza superior.

Journalism is going through one of the most difficult periods in its history. The economic crisis is the most visible reason to the situation, but the emergence of online newspapers, mobile consumption and the challenge from new information producers and distributors are also factors that explain this scenario. This liquid media ecosystem (Bauman, 2007), a consequence of convergence, has created new careers in journalism and, therefore, requires changes in the training of journalists. The aim of this study is to identify what are new journalistic activities in newsrooms and what kind of new subjects should be taught in journalism schools.
