Ruissellement et érosion sur les versants du flysch d'après les résultats de parcelles expérimentales (Overland flow and washing on the flysch slopes on the basis of experimental field studies)

Abstract. - The aim of this paper is to present the rate of the present-day erosion on flysch slopes, after the results of measures in the Research Station of the Institute of Geography, Polish Academy of Sciences, in Szymbark. The vegetation cover is very important in the slope protection against erosion : the largest magnitude of washing is recorded on the plots with potatoes (21,8 t/ha, against 2,37 t/ha with winter crops, 0,11 t/ha in meadows and 0,03 t/ha in the forests). The overland flow and washing are the largest during the summer season.
