Summary. — This research of historic geography is made possible by the consultation of minute-books of town-council, cadastral registers and plans of Thonon-les-Bains {Savoie), during the first sixty years of XVIII Century. The author studies in turn : climate, agricultural ressources — especially vineyard — , social and urban life, propriector- ship, demography and trade.
