We consider the problem of hyper-parameter selectionudin advanced image reconstruction algorithms used inudsynthetic aperture radar (SAR) imaging. To deal withudthe parameter selection problem in these algorithms, weudpropose the use of unbiased predictive risk estimationudand generalized cross-validation techniques. Weuddemonstrate the effectiveness of the applied methodsudthrough experiments based on electromagneticallyudsimulated realistic data.
