(2) how theudcoherence of Discourse of Javanese Short Story Anthology “Wiring Kuning”udwritten by Trinil? and (3) how the characteristics of Discourse of Javanese ShortudStory Anthology “Wiring Kuning”written by Trinil?udThe purpose of this study were (1) describe the grammatical cohesion andudlexical cohesion in Discourse of Javanese Short Story Anthology “WiringudKuning” written by Trinil (2) explain the coherence of Discourse of JavaneseudShort Story Anthology “Wiring Kuning” written by Trinil and (3) explain theudcharacteristics Discourse of Javanese Short Story Anthology “Wiring Kuning”udwritten by Trinil.udThis research is a type of qualitative descriptive research. The data in thisudstudy of data writes that contain of cohesion and coherence. Source of data usedudis derived from the book of Javanese Short Story Anthology “Wiring Kuning”udwritten by Trinil. The population in this study is the whole discourse of JavaneseudShort Story Anthology “Wiring Kuning” written by Trinil contained in the dataudsource which is contain of 12 Javanese Short Story titles. The sampling in thisudstudy is the selected Javanese short story “Wiring Kuning” written by Trinil andudrepresents the population. The sampling of Javanese short story titles are WiringudKuning, Fotografer, Kadho, Limaran, Nginang, Ari-ari, Jubah Putih, KalungudKembang Mlathi, Jutawan Mawut, Supinah, Ayamipun Bu!, and Kidung Sumarah.udCollecting data in this study refer to the method and technique continued record.udMethods of data analysis used the distributional method and the technique is foruddirect element (BUL) and subsequent engineering of engineering and engineeringudchange disappeared. Distributional methods used to analyze markers of cohesion,udwhere as for markers of coherence using dishonest methods with referential.udMethod of presenting the results of data analysis using formal and informaludmethods.udFrom the analysis we can conclude several things: (1) markers ofudgrammatical cohesion that is found is reference, substitution, ellipsis,udconjunctions; marker of lexical cohesion that is found is some repetition,udsynonymy, antonymy, collocation, hiponimi, and equivalence, (2) markers ofudcoherence was found that markers of coherence in the form of emphasis,udcoherence in the form of conclusions / results, coherence in the form of examples,ud(3) caracteristics is found in the Discourse of Javanese Short Story Anthologyud“Wiring Kuning” written by Trinil includes grammatical cohesion of theuddominant marker of reference 65%, a dominant marker of lexical cohesion isudantonymy 32%, coherence of the dominant marker is a marker of coherence in theudform of emphasis 75%.
