The evaluation of digital resources is a discipline of Library and Information Sciences that was born in the nineties, when the Web constituted for the first time a credible and valuable resource both for academic and professional use. Nevertheless, some valuable resources have shared their place in the Web with sites (a) of ridiculous interest, (b) fraudulent, (c) plagued of errors or (d) the three things simultaneously. By such reason, as we have indicated, at some time from the nineties emerged the need to develop methods that allowed to determine what web sites deserved to be listed in directories or data bases of quality digital resources offered to users of the academic and professional worlds.
