The advent of postmodern social orders such as the Information Society offers new challenges and visions for the public library world. An example of this are the different names that have been visitors to library institutions,readers, users of information and now customers or consumers Along with this phenomenon library practices associated with the processes of formation of those attending the library have been modified, resulting in differentiation of the programas of users and readers.
