Large volumes of information, mostly very disperse and unstructured, call for astandarized process and protocol to structure data in a timely and efficientmanner. This thesis investigates the overall response pattern of accessing aninstitutions database by introducing georeferenced information. A methodology iscreated which optimizes information retrieval of an institution by georeferencingtechniques and the usage of a geodatabase applying both national andinternational standards.
