The Regional Utility CENTROSUR through SIGDE (Integrated ElectricalDistribution Management System) of the Ministerio de Electricidad y EnergíaRenovable (MEER) has between one of its objectives, develop the GeographicInformation Systems Infrastructure of the electric utility companies of thecountry to ensure web publication and interoperability of information through asingle management model under international standards, to help strengthenmanagement processes, improve service quality, customer service, reducedtime of claims accurately by locating the places where events that affect thenormal operation of the electric system occur, improve operation planning,customers geographic location, among others.
