Civil society contributions to strong social protection. The role of civil society organisation in developing and maintaining strong national social protection systems

摘要

This paper aims to deepen the understanding of the role civil society organisations play in national social protection systems across the world. Using existing literature and case studies, it maps at what stages, with what strategies and to what effect civil society organisations are involved in national social protection policy development and implementation. The study revealed a very multifaceted and nuanced role for CSOs.
