The article discusses the intersection of competitive intelligence and counter-intelligence as components of economic security. It proves that the documentation of the legal status of trade secrets and confidential information reinforces its protection. The article describes three common methods of criminal attacs on information of commercial or banking secrets and discusses ways of their localization.
