Capital structure as a function of funding to be made by management in order to finance its operating costs from internal and external sources. Capital structure is generally a concern of financial managers that need to be managed properly. This study aims to analyze determinants of capital structure and its effect on firm value. This research was conducted at the companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The observation period 2007-2011 . Based on the criteria defined population sampling method was census sample. The number of companies that were analyzed by 13 companies so that the unit of analysis is 65 observations. The method of data analysis using descriptive and path analysis. The findings of the study are: the determinants of capital structure are structure of assets, growth potential and scale of the enterprise. Capital structure changes contribute to the increase in the value of the companies.
