Análise documental de imagem: uma leitura das contribuições semióticas

摘要

Analyzing the image as an object of scientific study, and being understood as a document, this article seeks to carry out a review about the studies on Documentary Analysis and Image Content Analysis being applied in photographic, artistic and media images, for indexing purposes, carried out by the author Mariadel Carmen Agustín LaCruz, being reviewed through six articles dating from 1999 to 2015. The methodology used will be qualitative with a descriptive and objective character to present the main contributions of the author in the area of Visual Semiotics.
