Education professionals, like everybody else, tend to repeat the patterns they have experienced.udTeachers tend to teach the way they have been taught. The methodology of training that theudPestalozzi programme adopts wants to offer the opportunity to trainers and teachers to experienceudand to practise a participative and interactive, democratic form of peer-training in an international andudintercultural setting. “Methodology is not neutral” and it is hard to imagine how you could teach theudcompetences, skills and attitudes needed to sustain our complex democratic societies in any otherudway than through the practice of collaborative work and knowledge construction.
