Multiresource Management of Southwestern Ponderosa Pine Forests: The Status of Knowledge.

摘要

The book synthesizes research-based knowledge concerning multiresource management conditions in southwestern ponderosa pine forests. To develop this knowledge, the current status and trends in individual forest resource conditions, and their interactions under natural and various vegetation management regimes have been explored, and reviewed in a multiresource management context. The major topics discussed include forest overstory/understory relationships, tree growth and yield, forest hydrology and watershed management, forest water quality, recreation and esthetics, and forest wildlife management.
