The report gives a survey of Computer-Aided Software Engineering (CASE) products available on the US market today. The author has collected this information from commercials, various articles and through communication with vendors. The CASE market is complex and even for the expert it is difficult to assess the pros and cons for specific CASE tools or even for the benefit of using CASE tools at all. The report gives some background information on the CASE market, its history and future.
