The report summarizes the results of work performed on the Ashland ExplorationInc., E. J. Evans No. 89 (CSW 4) and E. J. Evans No. 91 (CSW 4A) wells in Breathitt County, KY. The objectives of the CSW program were (1) to develop a better understanding of the geologic controls on production, (2) to identify prospective completion zones by developing or refining existing formation evalution tools, and (3) to improve stimulation practices and reservoir description in the Devonian Shales. In addition to these wells, nine additional Breathitt County wells and two Pike County wells were also included in this study; results of various data collection and interpretation from those wells are also included in this report.
