The volume presents the risk assessments and results of the statistical analysesfor the project. The risk assessment section compares the project area concentrations to concentrations in other locations nationwide; estimates cancer and non-cancer toxicity risks using the ambient air concentrations; for volatile organic compounds (VOCs) only, estimates risk when individual exposure is apportioned between indoor and outdoor air; and estimates risk for simultaneous exposure to chemicals in the ambient air. The section on statistical analyses provides an assessment of the statistical significance of intersite differences for a small subset of VOCs and sites.
