The mission of the Technology Reinvestment Project (TRP) is to stimulate thetransition to a growing, integrated, national industrial capability that provides the most advanced, affordable military systems and the most competitive commercial products. Programs are structured to expand high quality employment opportunities in dual-use technologies that demonstrably enhance U.S. competitiveness and national security. The TRP workshop for the Technology Focus Area titled, High Definition Systems Manufacturing, was held May 6 in Arlington, VA. The purpose of this Technology Focus Area will be to solicit proposals to develop manufacturing process technology, in conjunction with increased capacity, for high definition display production. Particular emphasis on lower cost, flexible scale manufacturing processes will be sought.
