摘要

The report responds to that request by providing a comprehensive summary of thedata and studies that were conducted before and after NHTSA terminated its rulemaking on splash and spray in 1988. Based on all the available information, the agency concludes that it is not necessary to initiate a new rulemaking action on splash and spray suppression for large commercial vehicles.
