Seasonal, Vertical, and Horizontal Distribution of Four Species of Copepodsaround Oahu, Hawaii: Data Report

Detailed vertical distribution data for zooplankton around islands is lacking, sothat the degree to which vertical distribution can affect the ability of zooplankton to be retained around islands cannot be assessed. To address this problem we have determined the vertical distribution of four species of copepods together with the physical structure of the water column for four seasonal transects off the leeward and windward coasts of the island of Oahu in the Hawaiian Archipelago. This data report is intended to provide a detailed data summary of station information and copepod abundances that will be used for future publication of the analyzed data set.
