The laboratory course on microbiology presented in this book summarizes thepractical laboratory part of the introductory microbiology (Kem-30.140 Microbiology I) course at the Helsinki University of Technology. The separate topics listed in this booklet are a collection of techniques and methods essential to the microbiologist.
