This report presents the results of a 1995 survey conducted to determine thelevel of fracture stimulation technology being applied by the industry. The survey gathered data on the types, depths and quality of formations being stimulated. Level of data collection and analysis in the field were analyzed, as well as the design and analysis of stimulation treatments. The uses of technological tools such as 3-D fracture design models were analyzed.
