摘要

The purpose of the investigation was to determine the engineering properties andstudy the chemical characterization of ash residue from Municipal Solid Waste Incinerator. There are two interrelated principal objectives of the project: to achieve chemical fixation/stabilization of the ash residue through various chemical stabilizing agents used independently and/or in combination with cement-based and lime-based mixtures for chemical fixation; and to study and evaluate the geotechnical properties of stabilized and unstabilized ash residue, with a view to its use in roadway construction.
