摘要

The effect of a number of factors that may influence the determination of theanchorage capacity of nail plates according to prEN 1075 (1993) were studied. Two types of nail plate with 10 and 14 mm long teeth were used. The tests were carried out at angles of 0 deg., 40 deg and 90 deg between the direction of the applied force and the main plate axis. A total of 511 specimens were tested. The results showed that factors related to the wood such as density, moisture conditions, presence of pith and mutual orientation of the timber members in a nail plate joint can have a major impact on the anchorage capacity. The effect is greater for the plates with shorter teeth.
