The overall objective of this R&D project is to provide GRI with the informationit needs to decide whether to initiate an R&D effort in the area of gas well restimulation and if so, in what areas (both geographically and technologically). This was accomplished by (1) characterizing the potential restimulation resource base, (2) describing current restimulation methods and identify technology barriers and (3) performing a benefits assessment of an R&D program in restimulation.
