Beamforming Broadband Antennas for Radio Communication: A Pilot Study(Lobformande Bredbandiga Antenner foer Radiokommunikation: En Foerstudie)

Within the project Radio Communication Environment broadband beamforming antennasare studied. This report describes a pilot study of a possible antenna configuration for broadband radio communication systems for frequencies between 200 MHz and 500 MHz (VHF/UHF). An antenna congifuration for frequencies between 2 MHz and 30 MHz has also been treated. The advantage of beamforming antennas is that interception of signals by an enemy becomes difficult. Circular arrays have been studied for both cases.
