Challenges in organizing a deregulated power business and 'reregulated'distribution network activity are topics of this course. In this course the authors will concentrate on power distribution systems and thus mainly consider relatively small customers. Opened markets have led to competition in energy business and especially large customers have profited. It has been more difficult to cut the costs for customers in the network business. Another challenge not yet completely solved is the smallest customers' access to the markets. How to develop inexpensive measurements or load curve applications accurate enough are actual topics. Lots of experiences and developments will be presented during this course.
