This document provides step-by-step instructions for Federal Security Managers(FSMSs), Security Company Managers (SCMS), and Checkpoint Security Supervisors (CSSs) operating the Threat Image Projection (TIP) system. This system was developed by ED&G Astrophysics for its Linescan X-ray Machines. This document is compresed of two independent user guides. The first explains functions available to FSMs and SCMs.
