The Pollution Abatement Services (PAS) site is in an industrial and commercialarea on the northeastern edge of the City of Oswego County, New York. Pollution Abatement Services, Inc. (PAS) operated a chemical waste incinerator at the site from 1970 to 1977. This public health assessment (PHA) addresses past community health concerns about the site. There are no known new community health concerns about the site. Based on the information reviewed and ATSDR's criteria for classifying sites, the site currently poses no apparent public health hazard. The PAS site posed a public health hazard in the past. Past remedial actions have eliminated the potential for exposure to contaminants on-site.
