Blast Overpressures, Gases and Fumes from a HEAT Warhead Caused TemporaryIncapacitation to the Crews of Two Attacked Armoured Personnel Carriers 302. An Experience from the Swedish UN Mission in Bosnia, 1994
Two armored personnel carriers (APC) from the Swedish UN battalion in Bosnia wereattacked in February 1994 and each was hit by an antitank missile. The vehicles were damaged and the crews suffered injuries. The crews were interviewed in order to make use of their reactions to, and experiences of, the effect of the missiles, foremost through blast overpressure, gases, fumes, light flash, and heat. In addition, interviews were conducted with three crew members of a third APC that was close to one of the hit vehicles and which also was exposed to the effect of that missile.
