Water and Salt Balance of Great Salt Lake, Utah, and Simulation of Water and Salt Movement through the Causeway

The report presents the results of the study that was done to modify the causeway model developed by Waddell and Bolke (1973). The main body of this report contains the results of the study, and the appendixes contain the details pertaining to the modification of the major components of the model. Included is a description of the calibration of the model and the results of simulations for three hypothetical 10-year periods in which the water-surface altitude decreased, remained at or near a constant level, or increased.
