Biodesulfurization of Gasoline: A Technology Roadmap

CRC formed a panel to examine available information on the status ofbiodesulfurization and compile a report that: identified the processes that may work and the research that is critical for the commercial application of biocatalysis to refining gasoline; addressed major research directions, specific research projects, and goals for each recommended project area; and discussed how biotechnology could be integrated into over-all refinery processes. This report presents the findings of this panel in response to the objectives stated by the CRC.
